Ans: At ChessNut Academy, we have put the needs of your child first and created a Chess Program which solves all the flaws in the learning process from many years of dedicated experience and practice. How can I enroll my kids to class?

What is the timing/Schedule of the Class?

Ans: Please check this excel for the current timetable and vacancy of slots.


How many students are there in a batch?

Ans: Students are divided according to their level, language, and timings, and then only batches are been formed. Normally one batch consists of 5 to 10 students each.


What are the requirements to join an online class?

Ans: The requirements to join an online chess class may vary depending on the class, but generally speaking, you will need access to a good internet connection, and a device to access the class (such as a computer, smartphone, or tablet).



How do you conduct practice sessions or Tournaments?

Ans: We do support playing chess games against computers for practice, but we encourage students to play in real tournaments and analyze games with computers rather than play with them. We also support students playing chess online with each other. This is a great habit that brings chess to life for your child. So we conduct regular practice sessions and also tournaments


What is the syllabus of your curriculum?

Ans: Our curriculum is designed to teach kids based on their age, interest, ability, level of play, and time commitment. In our teaching process, we stay away from computer-generated teachings, no computer puzzles, and no video instructions. We have a tailor-made syllabus for all levels of Chess. Depending on the level of student we have divided the batches into Pawn, Knight, Bishop, Rook, Queen & King

Will I get a discount on fees?

Ans: Sorry, As we have already declared our base fees, there is no discount.


What if my child is absent for class? 

Ans: We will have a makeup class for it. We may reschedule the class according to the convenience of the student as well as the coach.

What is the right age to start Chess?

Ans- While some children will be ready to learn the game by age 4, the consensus among chess teachers seems to be that second grade -- meaning age 7 or 8 -- is the ideal time to start. But the earlier the better. According to child psychologists and researchers, the best age to learn chess is 5-6 years, when children start learning things at school. Some kids have the ability to grasp chess-playing skills soon after they learn to speak. We even have students of age 4 who are learning ruthlessly.

What are the possible careers in the field of Chess?

Ans - A career as a chess player involves participating in ladder-structured tournaments with one-on-one competitions with other chess players on the classic game of chess. The work remains largely on a freelance basis, but some may actually choose to use their knowledge about the game of chess to get occupations in related fields. Many teach chess at schools and colleges, while others write for chess-related websites and blogs.


How much time will it take to be a master of Chess?

Ans - The answer is simple: it is how much time you dedicate to playing and learning chess. Now, if you are looking for a somewhat general answer, we can say 1-2 years of practicing can be enough to build a good foundation and consider yourself a chess player.
