It is common knowledge that in order to improve your game you need to analyze chess games, most importantly your own chess games. But how many people know how to do it? Today, I am going to guide you through the game and ask you to do the chess analysis of certain positions. Try to do it in the following steps. 1. Analyze the position mentally, just like you will do it over the board, but take your time this time! 2. After that open the analysis board and check your variations on the board, see if you can find better moves. 3. Finally, go with the chess engine to check your analysis and see what you missed. When you are done with all preparation steps go on and take a follow-up quiz, if you did your analysis properly you should be able to solve it! How much analysis you do in the preparation for the quiz is totally up to you. You can make it quick and casual (which is the most likely scenario if you want to do an analysis of your own game) or you can try to go deeper and uncover the hi

ChessNut Academy Under 8 are Winners of Worldwide U8 Eastern Team Battle

 Finally after so many looses and close finishes we were able to win the World wide U8 Eastern Team Battle. It was a emotional moment as we had a bad day before, as the Under-12 event where our team of Under 11 gave their worst performance and secured 5th place but new day gave us new belief and we took revenge by winning the under 8 team battle event.We made 2 more points than the second team,who were favourites to win the tournament and it was a close contest where each player gave their best.We would like to thank everyone for playing for the ChessNut team.Special thanks to the leaders of ChessNut Academy in the tournament. 1.                                                                                                    Charvi A (champ0403,Telecomlayout, Bangalore, India)-18 points 2.
